Barbara Gibson, our director of housing services, is excited to join the Community Advisory Board for a study conducted by Dr. Dabney P. Evans and funded by the Injury Prevention Research Center at Emory.
This study is focused on improving care connection between hospitals and community organizations for intimate partner violence survivors of color, including those who identify as queer and/or having disability. Barbara will work with other CAB members to contribute insights to inform the study tools. provide feedback on the logic model of change, contribute to the finalization of the intervention design, and participate in discussions around the implementation of interventions and dissemination of study findings.
